Il presidente americano, Donald Trump, non esclude l’opzione militare per il Venezuela.
“Il presidente Trump sarà lieto di parlare con il leader del Venezuela quando la democrazia sarà ripristinata nel Paese”. Lo afferma la Casa Bianca, sottolineando come al momento “il regime di Maduro ha scelto la via della dittatura”. Si tratta della risposta dell’amministrazione Trump alla richiesta del leader venezuelano di avere un colloquio telefonico con il presidente Usa.
Il presidente peruviano, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, ha respinto l’invito fattogli da Maduro di incontrarlo in un vertice regionale perché, ha spiegato, “è un dittatore, che ha dato un colpo di Stato, con una elezione manipolata per eliminare il suo Parlamento”.
